Gordon Marino is Professor of Philosophy at St. Olaf College. He is author of Kierkegaard in the Present Age and co-editor (with Alastair Hannay) of the Cambridge Companion to Kierkegaard. He is editor of two Modern Library editions, including Ethics: The Essential Writings.
